We live in a fast-paced, digital world and sometimes we all need to step back and take it slower. Switch off and spend an evening or afternoon learning the
basics of modern pointed pen calligraphy.

From pen strokes and creating letterforms, to joining them together & writing words. You will leave feeling inspired to get creative with a new skill and add beautiful finishing touches to your cards and letters.

No experience is necessary (and neither is neat handwriting!). 

All materials are provided including a pen, nib,
pot of ink and detailed worksheets to take away with you.

A workshop where writing is fun & inspiring. For children aged 9 to 13 to switch off their digital tech and get creative with pen & paper. They will learn the basic techniques of letterforms, calligraphy techniques, brush lettering, faux-calligraphy (how to make letters look like calligraphy but using a pen or pencil instead) & different lettering styles.

All materials and a detailed workbook are included so that they can continue getting creative at home and add their lettering to cards, letters, journals, art projects…
the list goes on!

I am a mum myself to two teenagers and I’m fully DBS-checked & insured. You are welcome to drop your child off and collect afterwards.
