We live in a fast-paced, digital world and sometimes it’s nice to take time out and take it slower.
Switch off and spend an evening or afternoon in a relaxed workshop.
You will learn how to create beautiful, contemporary lettering using traditional calligraphy techniques.
In this workshop, participants will learn the basic of modern calligraphy and how to use a
pointed pen to create fluid strokes and how to combine letters to form words.
You will learn lots of tips and advice as I love to share my skills in my calligraphy classes
and help people discover their own calligraphy style with nib and ink. You’ll leave feeling inspired to get creative and develop a skill that
you can use for handwritten notes, cards & gift tags. It’s also perfect if you are a bride-to-be and would like to add
special details to your wedding day yourself such as place-cards and menus.
No experience is necessary
(and neither is neat handwriting!).
All materials are provided including detailed worksheets that you can keep and use to practice at home.

LEARN BRUSH CALLIGRAPHY
A collaboration with Molton Brown at their store in Bath.
Learn the basics of brush calligraphy using brush pens in a lovely relaxed environment with a glass of fizz (or non-alcoholic alternative).
All materials included.

‘KIDLIGRAPHY’
MODERN CALLIGRAPHY & HAND-LETTERING
WORKSHOP FOR CHILDREN
AGED 9 TO 13
10am to 12pm

A workshop where writing is fun & inspiring. For children aged 9 to 13 to switch off their digital tech and get creative with pen & paper. They will learn the basic techniques of letterforms, calligraphy techniques, brush lettering, faux-calligraphy (how to make letters look like calligraphy but using a pen or pencil instead) & different lettering styles.
All materials and a detailed workbook are included so that they can continue getting creative at home
and add their lettering to cards, letters, journals, art projects… the list goes on!
I am a mum myself, I’m fully DBS-checked & insured. You are welcome to drop your child off and collect afterwards.
Soft drink & healthy snack included.
